The CC spent some time on the rack at Achtuning yesterday for it’s 80k service! The miles just keep adding up, and fast… Clearly a sign we’re having a whole lot of fun with it. While there, we had Achtuning install Neuspeed’s Hi-Flo air charge pipe.
Aside from the Neuspeed Hi-Flo turbo discharge conversion kit that has yet to be installed (as we’re still undecided about an APR K04 turbo upgrade), this part removes the last restriction on the discharge side of the turbo charger plumbing offering more flow from the intercooler to the throttle body.
We also picked out a set of oil and expansion tank caps out of the Audi R8 parts bin to rid the engine bay of the basic, plastic VW pieces and dress up the bay a bit. A roof spoiler has also been sourced for the CC but will sit in the box it came in while we accumule other parts we’ll have painted at the same time. Hoping to have a few things done before the next show season.
The Golf also gets some love this Winter so stick around for updates on both projects!
